How to Pop the Question

The idea behind this blog was initially to promote the hottest trends, coolest happenings, etc. revolving around proposals. However, we’ve decided to take a step back and look at the big picture. Because this day, this moment, this experience, you are thinking about creating is much more than a trend. This is the beginning of forever. Technically, the day you two love birds met was the beginning…so this is the beginning round two 😉 or what some say in the journey of life, your next chapter, together.

If you are currently smitten over someone and thinking about proposing, you can Google ‘best proposals’ and find a variety of enthusiastic couples in their ‘beginning round 2’ You don’t need us for that.

Now, thirty minutes later, 10 over the top proposals, and all you’re left with is a spinning head and sweaty underarms. It’s all good! You’re good! Take a deep breath. We’ve got something for you.

In order to help you create this perfect moment, take a minute and think about your relationship as a whole. This moment isn’t going to be perfect, if it is something that the two of you will not appreciate. It doesn’t matter what the rest of the world thinks. Think about you the one you are proposing to and your identity as a unit. What brings out the light out in the two of you? The restaurant where you had your first date? The park where you picnicked together and had the epiphany that you would spend the rest of your life with this person? Guaranteed rate field where the two of you made it on the kissing cam? Still not lighting off any light bulbs? You’re still good! Popping the question after making your favorite meal together is equally as special.

Whatever it is, however you ask, there is no wrong way. At the end of the day, it does not matter if you make it on Pinterest’s ’10 best proposals’ or the special on Fox News at 5pm. What matters is that it is special to the two of you. If it is in an environment that you both love and cherish, then that’s all you need. No hoo rah rah needed.
